Leadership isn’t a formula—it’s a lived experience, and too often a lonely one. Inside the Decision doesn’t pretend to offer all the answers. In truth, I’m still wrestling with the right questions. In a world flooded with leadership books, frameworks, gurus, and philosophies, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or cynical. Not all of it lands. Some of it is noise. And sometimes, the most valuable insights don’t come wrapped in a bestseller—they come from the right article, TikTok, newsfeed, or whatever at the right moment.

This list is a personal collection: books that have challenged me, clarified my thinking, or simply made me pause and nod in recognition. Some are tactical, others philosophical. A few are decades old but feel more relevant with time. I’m not offering them as a definitive syllabus—just as signposts I’ve found helpful along the way. If they spark something in you, all the better.

By way of disclosure: I have no financial interests in these publications, no affiliate links, and no endorsements. These recommendations are offered in the spirit of Inside the Decision—as an ongoing conversation with other leaders who know that real clarity comes not from having it all figured out, but from staying curious and honest about what it really takes.
